Step 1: Identify What Counts as an Unresolved Follow-Up
- Determine your reminder criteria, such as:
- Cases not closed
- Sales orders awaiting response
- Tasks past due
- Cases not closed

- Go to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
- Select the appropriate Record Type (e.g., Case, Task, Sales Order)
- On the Criteria tab, define conditions like:
- Status is not Closed
- Assigned To is [your user/team]
- Status is not Closed
- On the Results tab, include key fields like Follow-Up Date, Subject, and Priority
- On the Audience tab, check Available for Reminders
- Save the search with a clear, actionable name
Step 2: Add and Configure the Reminders Portlet
- On your Home Dashboard, click Personalize Dashboard
